Precalculus Algebra covers the fundamental mathematical calculations required of working with a single unknown, the skills necessary throughout the sciences. The primary objective of this course is to prepare students for success in the sciences, including the Health Sciences. Topics include a brief review of introductory algebra, variation, elementary theory of equations, functions (including exponential and logarithmic) inequalities, systems of equations, and other related topics.
